After School Care Cowbridge

Hi I'm Jayne a bubbly friendly individual looking to change my career slightly and to become more flexible as my eldest daughter is expecting and due in September. I am 48, divorced with 2 children both girls, one 24 and the other 21. I live with my 21 year old daughter who is in University and I am due shortly to move to my late fathers farm. Currently I'm a level 4 teaching assistant in Nursery in a rural school just outside Cowbridge. I assist the teacher during morning Nursery and I am the class teacher in the afternoon for the rising 3, s. I plan for this class and prepare all resources liase with the parents and work together with the Early years team. I have been working in this position for 11 years and have made many strong relationships and bonds with the families of the school. I'm reliable and trustworthy and looking for a flexible change. | I am currently working full time as an LSA in a local Welsh language school in the nursery class. I also work the breakfast club and after school club, this has given me the opportunity to work with a wide range of all ages. I thoroughly enjoy this job. Whilst studying for my CACHE level 3 I worked as a live out nanny caring for 2 children in their home aged 1 and 5. I was previously employed by a local charity working a Saturday club for children with autism and auditinal needs. | I've worked as a swimming teacher for two years; teaching children aged from 3-14.I enjoy spending time being creative and imaginative in work. It has been incredibly rewarding forming bonds with the children I have taught. Prior to my swimming teaching job I babysitted a 6 year old boy every tuesday for after school for a year. This job mostly included me entertaining him and playing games. However alongside this I would get him snacks run his bath clean his bedroom and down in the living room where he played. I made sure to lock up if we left for a walk to the park. I believe with my experience now I could have more tasks: light cleaning, cooking tea, dropping off to activities, looking after pet etc. I have a DBS check and would feel incredible grateful, if I could, this summer before university carry on my passion for helping children learn, be creative and most important be happy.

Looking to focus on this by working alongside families to give children a great upbringing whilst parents are working and ensure seamless transition between care time and family time.
