| Hello! I am a 19 year old woman who is currently on a gap year looking to gain some more experience working alongside children. Next year, I will be attending university with the hopes of becoming a primary school teacher, which I am very excited for! In terms of experience, I have babysat for multiple different families. In addition to this, for a year I worked as an assistant for an after-school childminding service (Ofsted registered), which invoked a number of tasks, such as: picking the children up from after-school activities, walking them back to the house, helping with homework, reading to the children, playing fun games, preparing healthy meals & cleaning.

As a former teacher and mummy of one (3 year old), I experienced first hand the value of a Childminder. My family benefitted from the more flexible, one on one approach that a Childminder offered and I therefore understand the importance of my role. My setting will care for children from birth to 8 years and will provide daily activities and opportunities based on the EYFS where children will learn through play. I am looking to go back to work part time, working with a family that will allow me to bring my son along. As this will work around my husband's careér and my children's own needs also. I do not have childcare qualifications but I am extremely experienced with children. Both my own and caring for others. And I am willing to retake a first aid corse on request (of which I have passed before but has now expired) I'm confident with multiple children both in the home, and also out and about.
