Childcare in Hyndburn

| I have done babysitting and childminding for around 4 years, I've looked after children 0-11 years and for up to 12hrs a day. I have a level 1+2 qualification in childcare. I'm very patient, energetic and love all kinds of activities.

| I have many experiences working with children as I have worked in different childcare settings with children from 0-8 years while I was at college on placements and I have much babysitting experience for friends and family members but also for families In a professional manner. I am patient and trustworthy, I always aim to be punctual and will always be on time.

| In the future my ideal job would be to work with children in a nursery and I am making this more possible by doing different placements working in them. I have studied in college a childcare course which helped me to understand the children more and work towards their needs. Also I come from a big family where I have been babysitting them and looking after them since they were born. I am happy to tell you a lot more if you give me the chance and get in touch with me.

| I currently work in Year 2, in a very large Primary School (an intake of 90 children per year). I have experience of working in EYFS and Year One, also. I assist the teacher in day-to-day activities, planning and interventions to aid the children’s learning and development. This involves working from IEP’s and EHCP’s to ensure the child’s needs are met. I have covered classes in staff absence, following lesson plans and delivering lessons to children. This could be from registering the children to delivering; Phonics, Guided Reading, English, Maths, Topic, PSHE, PE and Computing lessons. Confidentially is a key concept and I am fully aware of all policies and procedures involved in working in a childcare setting. I have up-to-date Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training. I have experience of working with children from 0 years of age, through to 7 years. I am currently supporting a child with Autism and with Type 1 Diabetes. At set times throughout the day, I test the child’s blood sugar and administer insulin when required. I support the child at lunch times to ensure he has everything he needs, medically. This is my third year working with this child. (Referred to as ‘the child’ to protect the identity.

| I am extremely patient and love to take care of children and babies. I am the eldest of eight siblings and over 20 cousins that all live local to me and have always taken care of them. My skills have developed drastically with me starting to look after them from the age of just 10. The age range is between 20-2 years of age so I have experience of caring for all ages. I like to keep the kiddies happy and feel comfortable with me so they can open up about any worries they may have.
