| I worked as a care aide for over 15 years in a care home. Currently I provide care and companionship to a lady that is 95 years young. I go there two times a week and do light housekeeping, meals, help with bath once a week and most importantly spend quality time with her. I am looking to do the same with another senior twice a week preferably in the New West/ Burnaby area as I don't have a vehicle at this time. Please send me a message so I can get back to you.

I take care of a stroke patient, paralyzed on her left side, I do personal care, medication, checking of BP and blood sugar. Took her to Dr.'s appointment, taking her to Seniors activity via wheelchair taxi, encouraged her to interact with others. I continued PT session at home like exercising her extremities and putting her in a standing board. Companionship, she has mild Dementia. Taking her out of the facility, chatting with her and encouraged to joined the activities inside the home. Another patient is partially psychotic, taking him for a walk and chatting, taking him to Dental, blood test and Dr. Appointment. Also a diabetic client, blood sugar and diet monitoring. Dr, dental blood test, taking her for a walk everyday. Preparation of meal for both of them.
