Compassionate, patient, and kind caregiver: looking to help

I am a hardworking, patient, and kind caregiver looking to assist seniors with daily living. I pride myself in high standards with respect to quality of work, punctuality, and attention to detail. I am a quick-learner and am eager to broaden my experience in caregiving.
Last year I spent 3 months as one of the primary palliative caregivers for my Grandma, who was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer. She lost all mobility, was living with chronic pain and fatigue, and required assistance for all day-to-day tasks. I administered medications, accompanied her to appointments, prepared meals and fed her, was responsible for her personal hygiene, and assisted with stretches. I spent time reading to her, writing letters for her, and walking her around the neighbourhood. We had conversations about her past, and spoke with a closeness that is only possible in these situations. This experience gave me insight into my abilities as a compassionate caregiver, and I want to continue tending to the physical and emotional well-being of seniors who are in need. I am confident in my ability to understand the emotional boundaries that surround each situation.
