Hello, I am Gabby and I am 23 years old!
I started babysitting family and family friends' children from the age of 12-13, then began babysitting and nannying as my primary income from the age of 14-18. I have experience with all age children and also have certification for first aid and CPR. I love having fun with kids, but also know they need routine and structure to live happy and healthy lives! I’m studying at Curtin at the moment completing a degree in primary education so I do a lot of babysitting in my spare time. I also work at the Foodies Basket in Attadale as a deli manager! I’m very keen to start doing some extra babysitting. I grew up in a large family with 3 brothers and spent a good part of my childhood in Sri Lanka and New Zealand. As coming from a very family orientated background i cared for a number of my nieces and nephews. Due to our culture from Vanuatu as an aunty, i was the main carer for these neices and nephews feeding, changing, cleaning up after them, bathing and walking them to and from school was part of life.

I am currently studying Cert 3 in Early Childhood and Education and Care. I have experienced babysitting to a 2 yr old and 5 yr old children. I play with them, give them a bath, drop and pick up them from school. Arrange their school stuffs. I can also do light household chores such as laundry, tidy up and cleaning their toys. I am very fond of children and applying my experience and acquired learning from the college at the same time. I took up ECEC course because I love the feeling of being with kids and help their parents in nurturing them, it is a fulfilling role that I never felt working in corporate.
