Looking for a nanny/babysitter to help 1-2 afternoons a week for a super clever, enthusiastic and chatty Autistic 6 year old that loves animals and his very sweet 2 year old brother. Sami is a 12yr old girl with Rett Syndrome, we live in Turramurra and go to school at St Lucys in Wahroongah. Lives with both parents and love people. She needs support with personal care, mobility and generally she will tell you if not happy but most of the time you'll see plenty of smiles and loves holding hands. Assistance will be required for the morning routine, such as breakfast, personal care and school drop off. Two days a week Sami attends therapies before school and once in the afternoon, on Mondays she attends a swimming class at the school and she will need assistance in the pool as well. The afternoon routine is a bit more relaxed is picking up Sami from school and bringing her home for afternoon tea and personal care and some educational games, until the parents get home from work. We are looking for someone with a big heart that wants to be part of our family and that generally wants to see Sami succeed, develop and most important be safe. Someone that likes people and that is willing to get to know Sami and develop a friendship with her. No special qualification is required but it helps if has a background in Social/human services, everything else can be learnt.

We need help with our 16-year old special needs twins who have special needs including Autism. We need some help with their evening routine on a Saturday night including giving them their dinner, helping them with their showers, and helping at bedtime. We also need help with their routine on Sundays from 8 am onwards and with some light household duties including our ironing.
