The SCA Tutoring Center offerstutoring and enrichment programs year-round for students ages 3 through college. The SCA Tutoring Center will provide your child with life long skills to become a better learner. ​ Also, we have experience with students that struggle with ADD, dyslexia and poor working memory. Our multi-sensory approach will help alleviate anxiety, increase confidence, and boost the recall of content. Our multi-sensory approach is good for ALL learners, but ESSENTIAL for students that struggle in the traditional classroom or with traditional tutoring. We know each student is different. So, at SCA, we offer each student a custom-tailored learning plan to fit their academic needs. We take measures to provide students with the resources they need to succeed. Here are some of the steps that we take at SCA: Administer Diagnostic Assessment Student observation Parent Consultation Implementation of an appropriate study course Prescribe the appropriate amount of hours Provide professional one on one instruction Multi-Sensory Approach Provide all learning materials Provide an environment conducive to learning Provide learning options that foster material mastery Incorporate interactive tools Point out student strengths and weaknesses Reward students for outstanding performance Collaborate with team of tutors Collaborate with classroom teachers How we do it: The Diagnostic Assessment is a critical part of the tutoring process. Our assessment usually takes 1 - 1.5 hours to complete. It will provide us with insight that allows us to set appropriate goals for each student. We also administer post-assessments to measure progress. We provide a team of professional, focused, motivated, and nurturing tutors with superior credentials.
