Mostly Math Learning Center is a live, online service providing one-to-one tutoring in math, test preparation, and other academic areas. We specialize in helping students catch up, keep up, and get ahead of the curve in math. At Mostly Math you work witha tutor with an advanced degree and at least twenty-five years' experience teaching and tutoring your subject matter. Whether you need remedial or college prep help, Mostly Math can make the difference. Our online format allows you to fit tutoring into your busy schedule without having to drive to a tutoring location. Students work from the privacy and safety of their own homes. We utilize a voice link through Skype (a free application available for download at www.skype.com), in conjunction with an online meeting platform, where we mark-up documents, draw figures, and solve equations together on the shared whiteboard in real time. Each student has a link to his or her own dedicated meeting room, which can be visited anytime to review previous work or to post new material for an upcoming session. In addition to tutoring in math, sciences, and English, Mostly Math offers intensive one-to-one preparation for the SSAT, PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams. We work together on actual exam questions in the sections of the student's choosing (Mathematics, Critical Reading, Writing, or Science Reasoning ), pointing out the tricks and traps utilized by the test makers to ensure that these tests are difficult and competitive.
