Tutoring at our center not only provides students with a supplement to their education, it gives each student the possibility to reach their full potential.

Succeeding academically is more important than ever, with academic and career competition at anall time high. We provide both academic intervention and enrichment. There is nothing as effective as individualized one on one tutoring to help your child get the help he or she needs in school. Personal attention is given to each of our students, and their academic and personal success is our first priority. Private tutoring is one of the best investments you can make in your child's future. With our individualized tutoring plan your child can learn! The SCA is for you, whether your child needs to get caught up or simply get ahead of the class. We will offer a curriculum that is challenging for your child without being overwhelming. We help your child "believe" in themselves and their ability to learn which will enable them to reach their academic goals. Our sessions are completely private and individualized. We : - Provide an environment conducive to learning. - Provide learning experiences that foster mastery of the material.(Mastery of the material means knowing concepts and facts within a specific subject area and being able to think critically about topics within a specific subject area) - Objectively point out both student strengths and weaknesses. -. Plan and implement an appropriate course of study for the student(s) assigned. - Work with their students to boost standardized test scores. -. Provide professional individualized instruction to meet the varied needs of students - We also collaborate with parents and classroom teachers. The SCA offers tutoring and test preparation for all subjects and grade levels; from Elementary school to College. Our subjects include but are not limited to: English Language Arts: Phonics, Spelling, Handwriting, Vocabulary Development, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Writing Skills, English Literature Math: Elementary, Middle School, and High School Math, including: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Probability, Statistics Science: General Science, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics Test Preparation Students begin by taking a diagnostic test.
