Back in 2009 I purchased my very first dog ( I consider him my son) Racker Bean from Laurel Roundtree. He is a pure bred AKC red dapple doxie. He was one of Abby & Beaux's litter born on August 13th 2009. I picked him up in Newark Airport in NJ on 10/15/2009 and I still have him to this day. Bean as I call him, literally saved my life. He and I were in a very traumatic car accident on 1/3/2017 and he kept me warm and protected me until firemen showed up and pulled me and Bean out of my car. Not one scratch on Bean. He was examined by a veterinarian in Rapid City SD (where we were currently living) and the only thing he suffered from was from being away from me while I was in the hospital with shattered legs. I am wheelchair bound and Bean motivates me every day to get up and move around despite that I can not walk. He is in excellent condition for and I can't even tell you that this dog (my child) has been the only reason I wake up every day. Laurel if you read this...Thank you for letting your boys hold my Bean when he was a puppy. He's become such a beautiful person. I don't know what I would ever do without him in my life. Laurel even emailed me photos of Bean in action before I purchased him. She was just beyond amazing. If you buy a doxie from her they will be an unforgettable part of your life, guaranteed. I am only half way through Bean's life and I know I've got another decade with him. He's been very healthy, as he gets older he's gotten a big of white around his face that I call his superhero mask. He's my soulmate and best friend.
