I contacted Pet Nanny via email asking about a dog walker while we are on vacation. (A family member is staying with our dog, but was unable to walk her.) I let her know our dog's breed and informed her that she was a rescue. (Pet Nanny's photos only showed pedigree dogs, which is why I inquired.) She replied, "We don't have any dog walkers in the area until summer." That seemed odd. No services until summer? Then I asked about house-sitting for our dog, as we were looking into that as well. Considering her previous reply that her services are not available until summer, I also asked if she was comfortable with all breeds Jan replied, "House sitters are not available, sitters have families and some work." Really? A pet nanny with absolutely NO openings for any service for months on end? What kind of "business" is that? I then replied, "So none of your services are available until summer?" and she never responded again. Why not just say that you don't work with all breeds? I was asking for services 2 months from now. If it isn't the breed, then how does this business function?

I've never used a service like this, usually preferring friends and family to watch my cats. I was thrilled with this service. Ani was faithful to text me a picture and short comment from each visit. When I came home after our trip, both my boys greeted me without the usual "where have you been" attitude that cats can get into. Love this service and highly recommend it!

Pet Nanny has provided excellent care for my trio / quartet of felines since 2010. When I still had a quartet, my senior cat needed extra TLC and attention and I so hated to leave him for 3-5 days as required by work. Chris and Pet Nanny took excellent care of all my cats, but also gave special attention to my senior guy, so when I returned home I found him happy, relaxed, and not-in-the-least stressed in any way. They always put my mind at ease and my felines love them so much so that when I return home it is a nearly unnoticed event.

We were so lucky to find Pet Nanny when we did. Before our first scheduled visit, our walker, Lindsey, came to our house to meet our dog and get acclimated with our home. She was very professional and I felt very comfortable with her coming to our house when we weren't there. When we are in a bind, Pet Nanny is there to help us out so we don't have to worry about our dog being left alone for too long. We always get a nice note and, more importantly, peace of mind! I have never had any trouble scheduling with the main office, either -- all emails are returned promptly, and there is even an option to pay via PayPal so I don't have to scrounge together cash to leave at home. Their prices are also incredibly reasonable. I have recommended Pet Nanny to everyone I know that is looking for a pet sitter and will continue to do so.

I rely on Pet Nanny whenever I go out of town for a few days. My two cats don't have to be locked in a cage and David plays with them and makes sure that they are happy. If newspapers/mail happen to be delivered even though I canceled them, the nanny brings it all in. My house looks lived in and I feel better that the house as well as the cats are seen daily. Nothing has ever been taken or broken or disturbed in the house. My cats wait at the door when they hear their nanny coming to the door and they are happy when we come home.

Pet Nanny is fabulous! Jan and her staff have cared for our cats for almost 10 years and we get home from vacation to find our cats happy and more spoiled than before we left. Having the mail brought in every day and different lights turned on and off is a huge plus too. We don't have to stop our mail and wait for It to be delivered or pick it up at the post office. Pet Nanny is reliable and follows up if we forget to call or email when we get home which prevents pets from being without service due to a delayed flight. Jan always responds immediately and has always accommodated us even with not much notice when we have had out of town emergencies.
For peace of mind when you must leave your pets, no one will take better care of them than Jan and her Pet Nanny staff.

I am just thrilled with Pet Nanny! They take wonderful care of my little kids (2 cats) and I love that my cats can stay at home where they are most comfortable. Jan is always quick in response to my requests for service and service has always been available anytime I have needed it. The service is very reliable and I completely trust them in my home and with my pets. I have had the same pet sitter each time (David) and he has gotten to know the cats very well. He plays with them while I am away and leaves me cute little notes about what fun the cats had while I was gone. You can tell that he really cares about the animals he takes care of. I am even able to check in via phone or text message to find out how things are going while I am away. And, I like that Pet Nanny has me check in with them (via text message) when I get home so that they know for sure that the animals are back in the care of their owner. My cat hated being boarded at a vet's. Pet-Nanny allowed my cat to enjoy all the comforts of his home and Kris kept him company, played with him, kept a daily diary of his exploits. Kris was wonderful. Pet-Nanny gave me peace of mind, the initial form included timing of visits, likes/dislikes, special requests (including watering plants) emergency vet care permission, which took a load off my mind. Jan sends me e mails to remind me to schedule pet sitting around the holidays, including tips on pet safety. I contacted Jan to ask if they do short notice visits - of course they do, if they need them. They have been there for me when I needed them.

Pet Nanny has been a life saver for us. We have a pet that requires twice daily shots and, before we found Jan and her team, we did not know what we were going to do. We thought boarding was going to be our only option. Michelle is our sitter and she does a great job, but everyone we have worked with at Pet Nanny has been very good. Pet Nanny has been great. I sometimes need help caring for my sweet little one year old Mango puppy at noontime. I work full time and don't like to leave him home all day by himself. Pet Nanny is always available on short notice. They love on my little angel and provide a note about his noontime antics. Michelle from Pet Nanny is very proffesional and trustworthy. It makes me feel better to know that my little Mango is in good hands while I am away.
