Mathnasium The Math Learning Center - Rochester

We are a math only learning center offering affordable, high quality supplemental math instruction for students that want to catch up or get ahead in math. Students come to our center after school or in the summer for one hour at a time two or three timesa week. Laurie Shappee, the center director and owner, has over 35 years experience as a professional educator serving Troy School District, Oakland Schools, and Macomb County Intermediate School District. Using Mathnasium curriculum, our highly trained staff of qualified instructors teach math in a way that makes sense to kids! We provide supplemental math instruction, ACT/SAT test preparation, homework help and private tutoring for math only. Mathnasium delivers results! Mathnasium is more than remedial help for struggling students trying to keep up. Many of our students are solid or even stellar students looking to get ahead and or improving their admission chances at the most competitive colleges. The cost is dependent on the grade level of your child and the length of their enrollment with us. We have flexible scheduling with drop in attendance on the top of the hour. School Hours (1 hour sessions): Monday through Thursday 3:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Saturday: 9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. Summer Hours (1 hour) Begin June 11th through August 22nd Monday and Wednesday 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We are always closed Friday and Sunday.
