How can you charge $150/day for live in care when paying a caregiver minimum wage would be at least $247/day?

Toi is the caregiver for this business and the only other reviewer of this business. We hired her and she came for training, but was very hard to communicate with.She is easily confused and misunderstands much. After a week's training, she took the next 2 weeks off (we were told it would be one week). Upon returning, she told us she thought there would be more hours (than what was posted in the job description) and didn't think the job would work for her. Of course, she still wanted to be paid for training.
