Welcome to my online community. My name is Galina. I am a nurse and care navigator.
I am looking forward to meeting you really sooon.
I like to share with you all the great things that my caregivers and I do to help and support caregiving families but first a little bit about me and how this service came about.
My first love was social work. I worked as a social worker for eight years and I saw first hand the challenges of finding reliable, trustworthy, affordable and life enhancing home care so I became a nurse to better understand and help more people.
I became a registered nurse and worked in an acute care setting in the hospital and worked as a home care nurse. My passion for teaching families intensified and I so got a master's degree in nursing education.
I am very prepared for the caregiving services and I am standing by to support you and to bring life enhancing care to your loved one.
Along with my small team of carefully selected caregivers, we offer many services to ease the stress of caregiving and to give every older American the opportunity to live life on their own terms in the the place they know by heart.....their home regardless of their life limiting diagnosis. This agency responded to my ad. I told them what I needed, they said they could do it. They did not show up for initial assessment and instead asked to FaceTime. The next day they were supposed to start and had told us they were sending a caregiver from 8 am-1 pm. We got a phone call at 7:30 am canceling the day. We decided to hire someone else. We need help, not last minute cancellations.

You are correct. I do visit all potential clients myself first. However, being that your loved one needed services in Sussex County and I'm in Bergen and time was of the essence, it was a bit difficult to schedule in-person visit. This is why I chose Face Time to make it faster and easier for the family. Knowing that caregivers might call-out, I always ask the family especially those in Central Jersey if they will be able to care for a client in case of a call-out. If the answer is NO, I don't accept the case knowing I won't be able to deliver my 100%. If the family says YES, then I will assist.
While speaking with the family on Face Time, I connected the aide so they can all meet. Yes, the aide agreed to come but she did call in the morning and stated that she couldn't make it (I don't have much control here). I continued working with the family in trying to place another aide but she was too upset. I do understand and believe me if she would be close to me, I would go and provide the care myself which I've done in the past. I hope you well.

Good morning,
Alexandra accompanied my wheelchair bound mother to a family wedding this past Sunday. She was amazing! She was attentive to all of mom's needs. She even took pictures and videos with mom's phone for her. My husband and I sat near them and we thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. Thank you so much for all of your help in pairing Alexandra with us. My mother had a great time at the wedding all due to the care and companionship provided by Alexandra.

Good Morning...not even sure where or how to start. You and your wonderful staff were my angels. They were there when we couldn't be, giving us peace to know she was in good hands. All of them are such amazing care givers. Each one of them taking care of my mom the sweetest ways. The young lady that was with her the morning she passed and stayed with her till we got there was truly an Angel. So grateful my mom wasn't alone.

We were so very satisfied with the service Galina and her aides provided my mother for about three months. They were caring and gave her all the attention she needed.

Amazing! That's how I would describe Galina and her caregivers. They have more than exceeded my expectations
Caring for a loved one with heart failure can be so stressful, but Galina and her expert and compassionate nurses eased our stress. Galina personally visited our home to assess my husband's specific needs. She gently asked him questions so she could determine which of her caregivers would be best for him and our family. She then returned with a caregiver who proved to a perfect fit for him. Shortly thereafter, she asked my husband if he was comfortable with her choice. As my husband required more care, we added a few more nurses. Each one was fantastic, loving, professional, and dependable. Galina checked in frequently to make sure we were happy with the nurses and that our needs were being met.
Unfortunately, my husband passed away recently from his illness, however Galina and her caregivers still stay in touch with me to see how I'm doing. They really care!!! I feel they are my extended family.
Therefore, I strongly recommend Galina and her nursing staff to anyone seeking caregiving services. They are without a doubt - the best!!!!

To say that Nurse Galina's Caregiving of NJ is excellent would be an understatement. From the minute Galina contacted me to the last day of services, Galina and her team went above and beyond to provide expert level care. The aides that were assigned to my post surgical case were some of the most kind, compassionate, helpful and caring women I've ever met, and they were always eager to help. I don't think I would've been able to continue healing as well as I did without their help and am incredibly grateful. Thank you Galina for everything!

Galina's caregivers are excellent. I have dealt with two for my husband who is suffering from dementia. Both were very proficient with caring for him and I was pleased with their service. If I ever needed care at home again I would contact Galina. She is very knowledgeable and responsive.

Galina and her team have been fantastic helping my father with all of his care needs. The team has helped my father to and from appointments as well as helping my father in the pool to help him work on mobility after his stroke. Galina is very responsive and if she can't find an aid she will go herself to make sure our needs are met. She is responsible, caring, personable, and just an absolute gem. We feel so lucky to have found Nurse Galina!

Life was good until dad who cared for mom took a fall. I wasn't sure how things will be. Galina was recommended by a friend who previously used her services. She really peeled the stress off of me. She came to rehab, assessed my dad, spoke to all the professionals and was able to come up with the plan that allowed for such a smooth transition home. I have nothing but THANK YOU to say.

What a knowledgeable nurse with such great caregivers. From the moment she walked in and assessed my mom, she knew what type of caregiver to place in my home. She is very involved and checks up at least twice a week to see if everything is going well. She is my life saver. I've been looking for a service like this for a long time. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to live a peaceful life knowing you loved on is truly being cared for.
