I have lived in NE Mesa, Queen Creek and Chandler over the past 6 years. Now I live in Gilbert. Ever since I heard about the success of Kumon, I enrolled my two boys in the program. Because of my "transient" life (real estate investor), my children and I moved from one Kumon center to another depending on the city we were living at the time. This allowed me to meet and interact with several Kumon Instructors, which most were fairly knowledgeable (I thought) about the program but didn't give me the confidence that they had my child's interest at heart. Meet Mrs. Barbara, the Director of Kumon of Gilbert. WOW! I thought I knew what Kumon was all about. Mrs. Barbara took time of her busy schedule to re-explain the program to me, center process, and the discipline applied at her center. I knew then that I had finally arrived!! My boys are happier doing their Kumon because they are not just doing worksheets, they are being challenged and motivated at every class day they attend. My boys' grades were improving before, but now they are soaring in every subject - talk about ancillary effect. I pledged to my boys that even if we have to move again, that they would continue to attend Kumon of Gilbert. The Staff is obviously well trained and knowledgeable. They hold this awesome Awards Ceremony every year that makes my children want to continue to succeed. There are Kumon Centers, then there is Kumon of Gilbert. Highly recommended.
