I have extensive experience working in childcare, and I have loved each of these jobs. From age 12, I was paid to babysit several children in my neighborhood. In high school, in addition to these positions baby-sitting, I worked a job at a Sunday-school daycare every week for four years, in which I was responsible for managing and entertaining children ages 0-4. In high school, I was also paid to be a summer camp counselor, three years in a row, and in this position I worked with children from ages 5-12. These two jobs involved such responsibilities as planning fun activities for the kids, making snacks, and also managing the behavior of the children. I also am CPR-certified as a result of these positions. From my experience, I am comfortable working with children of all ages. I can cook, clean, teach English, and help with homework.
