Family with 1 elementary school age child / 1 early school age child that needs special needs, pet care and kids

Looking for a full-time caregiver for our Youth family member with Autism, Cognitive Disabilities, Speech Delay, Down Syndrome in Greendale. Ideal match will meet the requirements below.

We are looking for a full-time, long term caregiver for our 13 yr old son. He is physically and cognitively about 2 years old He is the size of a 3-year-old. He is non verbal but uses a picture exchange book to communicate as well as simple sign language. He is still in diapers, eats blended soft foods and drinks bottles. He is super loving and sweet. The perfect match would be someone who has worked with kids with special need or is anxious to learn. This position is full time during the week with hours available during the weekends if wanted. During the school year it would be from 2:30 p.m. until 7:30pm, with weekends available. During summer, it is from 11am-7; 30 p.m. Hours are flexible. We have two sweet dogs and a cat you'll never see. Our home is controlled chaos and we all have a sense of humor. Each of our previous caregivers have stayed for at least 2 years and loved this job. You will be paid by Milwaukee County as well as an independent company for people with disabilities Must have transportation and able to drive child, must be okay with pets, must be able to take long walks and comfortable in a shallow swimming pool
