We are looking for a nanny to support our family by caring for our creative, imaginative, caring and energetic 6-year-old boy who has ADHD and Autism.
Our home is filled with sensory toys, we have a vege patch, chickens, and outdoor play equipment. He is verbal, loves drawing, reading, playing outside, maths, gaming, and learning how things work. Co-regulation, clear boundaries and reasoning are important for him. Some home management tasks like tidying up and snack preparation will be needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Play and supervise activities.
- Picking him up from school which is very close to our home (~5 mins bike, 10 mins walk).
Special Requirements:
- Patience and empathy.
- Clear communicator.
- Natural curiosity and interest in arts and STEM (desirable).
Desired Experience or Qualifications:
- Knowledge of children's learning and development.
- An understanding of ADHD and ASD with demonstrated experience at caring for children or adults with ADHD and/or ASD.
- First aid skills.
