I have been around dogs since day dot. I have always been passionate about animal welfare and their care. There has always been a dog, sometimes cats, a hamster and a bird at one time to care for in my household. I am an experienced pet care sales associate having worked in Europe’s largest Pet Retailer, Maxi Zoo. During my time with the company I assisted a variety of dog breeds, all different sizes and ages. Recently returned from Toronto, Canada, where during my time there I worked in the adoption services as an animal adoption agent at Toronto’s Humane Society. It was emotional, gratifying and humbling all at the same time - to be able to send our dogs on their way to their Forever Homes was something extraordinary for me. With this combined experience and passion for animals since a young age, I have had great exposure to small-medium-large sized dogs, dogs with medical/behavioral issues, as well as puppies and senior dogs. At the start of 2020 I attended the DSPCA’s 2 Day Dog Trainer Workshop, planning to continue trainer courses in due course. If a fellow pet owner requires a dog sitter, walker, groomer, carer or whatever service is needed I would be more than happy to help where I can during my free time.
