I am a 27 year old American female currently living in Cork for school. I attend UCC and am working on a Masters of Human Osteoarchaeology. While I have never held a job in a pet environment, I feel that my personal experience speaks volumes. I have always had animals in my home, regardless if I lived with my family or on my own. I have been responsible for a chinchilla, hermit crab, dogs (puppies and senior dogs, small dogs-large dogs), cats (kittens to elderly cats, all shapes and sizes), tarantula, parakeets, and rabbits. Picking up dog poop, cleaning out litter boxes, cleaning out cages, and cleaning up messes does not phase me. Over the years, many of my animals have needed to take medications, so that is no bother as well. I am comfortable taking care of all animals in whatever way needed.
