My name is Megan. I have worked as an aba therapist with children with autism for 3 years- promoting their communication and intellectual skills using applied behavioural analysis. I worked in main stream schools and at their homes. I built great rapport with the families i worked with. From there i worked as a disability assistant for three years working with children and adults with many disabilities ensuring their well being was adhered to and promoted greater sense of independence and overall feelings of inclusion. I then did my cert 3 in childcare while working in a childcare facility then i completed my diploma while working full time in the same centre. Then i became a room leader for 27 -2yr old children setting up different learning experiences for individual children and group learning experiencing whilst developing individual portfolios for the children and their families to see the progression in their child's learning life from the class i held.
