I have three younger brothers and 19 younger cousins who I babysat regularly growing up. I have experience working as a head of boarding and as a school matron, caring for up to 40 students at a time. This included helping them with homework, tending to their emotional issues and as well as their food and exercise needs. I also have worked in various summer camps, organising activities for children. I am sporty (I played county football and rowed for my university) and musical (I can play the piano and sing). I have very good Irish as I went to an all Irish primary school and also have a good level of French and have worked in France for two summers and as a result these are languages I could practice with the children. Most importantly, I love children and celebrate their uniqueness and the way they see the world.
