I grew up in a large family and was constantly taking care of the younger children in my family. I began babysitting at a young age, and at the age of 17, I began working as a full time nanny during the summer for a family of four with twin 6/mo old boys. I did this for 3 summers and often provided other services for the family. During my undergraduate degree, I worked at a primary-school after-school care program where I was the director for 8 & 9 yr old enrichment activities. This included putting on school plays, assisting with homework, facilitating outdoor playtime, and assigning and helping with science projects. I also worked for a summer camp where I was responsible for taking care of special needs children. I truly believe all of these experiences have prepared me for everything when it comes to children! I am from America, but currently living and studying in Ireland. I am looking for a part-time sitting jobs, but I do have greater availability over the summer. I love children, so rather than going back to one of my boring old banking jobs, I figured I could enjoy my summer in a different way.
