Children are my passion, and caring for them is something I enjoy immensely. I worked as a Special Needs Assistant for almost three years and loved every minute of it. I worked one on one with a little boy with autism, but he was among a class of 24. The children aged from 2-4 and some were still in nappies, so helping with the changing was a part of the job. With the little boy that I worked one on one with, I had to be organised and prepared for each day, making sure I had suitable tasks and activities ready. These tasks helped develop his social, emotional and physical growth. I organised indoor and outdoor play for all of the children too. I enjoyed the nurturing side of the job like teaching them new things, helping the kids with there lunch, helping with toilet duties and ensuring the overall safety of each child. Working with children is something I was always drawn to, and is something I am really good at. I am reliable, honest and full of love. I have my license and a car which means bringing the children to various places is no problem.
