After School Care Letterkenny

| From August 2019 until this year, I was living in Madrid, Spain where I provided childcare to two children of a busy, working family aged 8 and 11, Monday to Friday from 6am until 6pm. While working here I performed most of the necessary housework like laundry, cooking, cleaning and shopping. Every morning and afternoon I transported the girls to and from school and other events. I implemented speaking English into our every day lives, along with our evening English lessons each day, which resulted in a 50% increase in both their reading comprehension and verbal use of the English language. Along with skills like safety, first aid and managing the responsibility of minors in my care, I improved my use of the Spanish language. I can now have an intricate conversation and communicate speaking Spanish which could help with schoolwork in future positions. My childcare and learning comes from a fun approach, music and play,

| I have worked in childcare since 2005...i completed my level fetac 6 in early childhood education and care. I have conpleted 1st aid and achieved healthy Ireland smart start award. I have been a preschool leader since 2013 with a group of 18 children aged 2-4. Previous to this i worked in after school setting with children aged 4-12. I have experience with teenagers through organising summer camps. I have experience with special needs such as adhd, sensory processing,autism etc. I am a mother of 3 children also. | I devoted working with children. Since high school I have volunteered tutoring children ages 5 to 10 years old in a Middle School in California. Also I have volunteered my time after school to help out at Pomona Valley Hospital. I have spent time with the children their to do activities like planning games, drawings, assisting them to walk around the hospital and also with feeding. I have done babysitting for the past 4 years. My CPR Certification is up to date as well. I am a bubbly, caring, hardworking, and responsible person.

Worked in crèche before for 4 years and took care of children of all ages staring from new born, toddlers, preschoolers and after-school children. Have a lot of experience with children. | I have worked in various different learning environments, including childcare facilities, after-school, summer school, special needs, my family life and other homes. I have incorporated Montessori learning and mini yoga techniques where needed. I have been involved with children of all ages from newborns to late teens with varying levels of physical and mental abilities. Some of my work has been voluntary - within those environments, working with the parents/guardians are equally as important to me.
