I began working with children independently when I was sixteen, but worked along my mother who was a foster carer and childminder before that. I have a HNC in Early Education and Childcare with a grade A, and I am currently completing my MA in Primary Education with History. I have a PVG and several references. I have worked with a number of children between the ages of 1 day old to fourteen years old. I have looked after groups of children as large as five by myself, but I have also worked in an after school club with another member with more than that number. I have cared for children in their own homes, in a private nursery and in an after school club. I have experience working with children who have additional support needs such as autism, developmental delay, drug and alcohol withdrawal, as well as dietary requirements.
