Hi I have a Masters in Special Needs Education and a Bachelors in Speech and Communication. I have worked in special schools, inclusive schools and rehabilitation centers for almost 15 years. I have experience with kids and adolescents with a range of disorders including but not limited to Down’s syndrome, autism, learning disabilities, intellectual impairment, speech delays, developmental delays and cerebral palsy. I have engaged in learning activities, Speech Therapy, PT and OT activities and can implement a home based program. I am a patient, Kind, responsible, caring and trustworthy person.

| My 6 years old son had developmental disabilities and diagnose with autism at age 3. I have developed a passion for caring by teaching, caring, loving and helping him with his personal life, like dressing, eating and personal hygiene. He is now independent and in school full time. I am looking to share the loving, caring, experience and knowledge I have developed from caring and loving my own son.

| Hi there! My name is Chloe, I am a recent graduate from Sheridan College, for their Special Education Support program. I am currently receiving Registered Behavior Technician training for more experience in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have been supporting a teenage boy with a dual-diagnosis of Autism and Developmental Delays - in a private home through Care.com - for over a year now. There I had the opportunity to work with a Behavior Analyst and apply ABA practices and techniques to teach social skills and communication skills. I am experienced with AAC applications, visual schedules, PECS, and other special needs resources. Through schooling, I have had the opportunity to work at three different schools - both elementary and secondary - for 5 month long periods. | My name is Amanda, Over the past years I have had opportunities working with the Peel District School Board as a Teaching Assistant, as well as providing respite care to children, you and adults with various needs. I have experience supporting individuals diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Seizure disorders to name a few. I am a graduated the Developmental Service Worker Program from Humber College and some of the skills gained through the Developmental Service Worker Program include but are not limited to: creating programs to develop positive habits, understanding abuse and how it can react to an individual’s mental health, ensuring individual health and welfare. | Hello I’m Katrina I’m and 18 year old girl looking to do some child care work. I have many experiences with children. I am the oldest out of 4 kids under the age of 6. I have my cpr certification, I also have experience with children with autism, type 1 diabetes, bone and muscle conditions, and skin abnormalities. I love the out doors and would go on daily walks and park visits in the neighborhood, and encourage less tv/electronic devices. I would call myself a joyful enthusiastic person and I think I would be a great fit for your child/children.
