My name is Amanda, Over the past years I have had opportunities working with the Peel District School Board as a Teaching Assistant, as well as providing respite care to children, you and adults with various needs. I have experience supporting individuals diagnosed with Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Seizure disorders to name a few. I am a graduated the Developmental Service Worker Program from Humber College and some of the skills gained through the Developmental Service Worker Program include but are not limited to: creating programs to develop positive habits, understanding abuse and how it can react to an individual’s mental health, ensuring individual health and welfare. I am first aide and CPR trained. I have my licence and a reliable vehicle.
