| My name is Kloe, I am a fully bilingual 25 year old university student with a particular interested in dog and cats. I’ve worked very closely with animal shelter and have been taking care of fosters for over 7 years. I have experience walking and taking care of 2 large dogs (Pitbull and + Mastiff) for the past 6 years. As of dog walking, I have had the pleasure of walking a German Shepard/Husky and a Siberian Husky for more than 2 months for a client met on this website (can provide reference if requested). I have two adopted tuxedo cats at home and I live with my fiancé in the H8R area. Although I can feed and/or house sit cats and dogs, I specifically enjoy walking dogs. I've lived in Lasalle (border Lachine) since 2014, so I know the Lachine/Lasalle area very well! I own a car so I can transport your dog(s) easily to the nearest dog park. I can provide one hour at the dog park + 1 hour of walking = total of 2 hours. I charge 13$/hour due to the nature of the work as well as my experience acquired over the years. The following outlines my experience caring for them: 1. l cared for Goosey, a three-month-old black Labrador, while I was living in New York . My responsibilities included taking him to the vet to get shots, feeding him, cleaning up after him and introducing him to walks outside while taking every precaution to minimize the risk of him catching viruses. I also had him for sleepovers at my home if his owner worked late. By the time I left New York, Goosey was seven months old. I miss him so, so much. 2. I currently care for a six-year-old Sheltie named Mister. My responsibilities include feeding him, walking him, cleaning up after him and cuddling him every day. He loves dogs so anytime I get the opportunity to pet sit one from my own home I do. I am experienced with handling multiple animals at once. I have dog sat two dogs from the same home for an entire month while a friend was on vacation. This included walks, feeding, and 3 visits a day. I used to nanny for a child and the job required me to care for a large labrador every day. I've grown up with golden retrievers all my life and while I don't have the time and space to care for a dog full-time this seems like a great way to spend some time with man and woman's best friend. I'm fairly active (gym 2-3 times a week) and love to hike near the water and through the parks in all weather (again 2-3 times a week). I was raised in the Eastern Townships, where I lived on a cattle farm for 6 years before moving to the city of Montreal with my cat (who gets along extremely well with other animals) and my two bearded dragons. I love spending time with animals, and since childhood have owned, raised and trained several dogs. All of my dogs have been rescues of all ages and sizes, but for the most part have been mixed breeds. Because of this, I'm comfortable with different personality types, breeds, ages and sizes. I love to play with dogs and usually carry a Frisbee, mini football, or tennis ball with me when I'm out with them for that reason. I'm available for overnight sitting (at whichever place works best for you and your pet), drop-ins, feeding and walking.
