I feel that pets are part of a family and should be treated with the love and affection just as any other family member. I have always wanted to volunteer or help in some way with animals in need, but my schedule has not given me that chance. Growing up my family owned cats. Now, as an adult and mother, I have owned dogs for over 20 years. My last Rottweiler passed away in 2012 from cancer and my now 13 year old Shi-Tzu is getting up in age. Hi, so I've always adored all animals. From when I was young even until now, whenever I see any animals I always want to spot and play with them. I had a dog and three cats growing up. I had a next door neighbor two houses down and there dog would walk over to my house by myself and bark at the door so I could let him in and play with him. I also would to babysit four boys across the street from me and they had to big dogs. I'm currently living with family and they have to small dogs who I adore and treat as my own. Any chance for me to be around and play with dog would be doing me a favour!
