Hello! I am very interested in the opportunity you have within your family. I am an experienced educator who has worked in multiple professional settings: classroom, post adoption, special education, and group homes. In addition, I am mum to two wonderful young men now 21(Asperger’s, ADHD, RAD, ODD, FAE) and 20(Down Syndrome) as well as a daughter who just finished her second year at university and also has extensive experience working with children with special needs. Because of my professional and personal experience, I have worked as part of a team in the capacity of facilitator, educator, and parent in developing programs for individuals in able to assist them reach their full potential. Due to my experience, I am able to read/assess a situation and give feedback that is timely and valuable to assist in a program’s development. I have seen huge growth in my students, as well as my sons when a program has been developed that is individualized, timely, meaningful and followed through by the staff on a consistent basis.
