I have 10 years of experience babysitting and about 4 years as a full time nanny. I have experience with newborns and toddlers, as well as school aged children. My duties have included cooking nutritious meals (sometimes with dietary restrictions), following a child's schedule, personal care, attending appointments, taking children to play dates, preschool, and classes such as gymnastics. I went to college to be a care aide and work with the elderly, so I have First Aid, HCP and CPR. I am reliable, hardworking and trustworthy. I've been playing the piano for many years and love music, reading and arts and crafts. I love caring for people and really enjoy being around children. The reason I decided to take the HCA program to become a care aide is because I think caring for elderly people and children is the most rewarding job you can have. I’m looking for something Monday to Friday. 32-40 hours is preferable. I live in the Willoughby area in Langley although it’s not a requirement to live close by.
