| I have been in the childcare field for over 20 years. I’ve worked in a school for that time period caring for 5 to 12 year olds. I ran a before and after school program. I’m an energetic, nurturing teacher who enjoys interacting with children. I enjoy craft activities, science experiments, and outdoor play with the children. I believe children learn through play, especially outdoor activities. Most children love to play outside so I always take the opportunity to go outside, enjoy nature and make sure the kids get physical activity and get all tuckered out by the end of the day. | All I have ever wanted to do was be able to help people. Working in child care has allowed me to do it. When I was 12, I started babysitting my next door neighbor and since then I have always enjoyed working with kids. I am a horseback riding instructor, I teach ages 6-8 and younger as well, which happens to be my favorite. Being able to watch their eyes light up as they discover the world for the first time is so rewarding.
