| Hi! My name is Jessica and I am 20 years old :) When I was 11 I took the Stay home alone, first aid, and babysitting courses so that I could babysit the kids that lived in my complex. When I was 15 my friend had a daughter and I would nanny her after school every day from 3pm-9pm my duties involved playing, feeding, changing & bathing her, tidying up the house as well as putting her to bed. In 2016 I got a job in a daycare in a gym, I was the only daycare worker and I was allowed to care for up to 15 children at a time between the ages of 2 months and 11 years. In the daycare my duties were to play games, do crafts, have snack time, colour, movie time, etc. On average I would usually have 2-4 babies under 14 months as well as 3-5 4 years olds. While working in the daycare I would help children learn how to share their things with other kids as well as how to resolve conflicts they have with other children in the daycare. On top of that I have babysat for many people! I absolutely love working with children and I always have! My goal is to obtain my ECE certificate followed by my infants and toddlers diploma as well as my special needs diploma, once I have received all three my plan is to open up my own daycare!
