Child Care in Caledon

| My name is Trudy, I am a 43 year old who has been working with children for the past 20 years. My personalities can best be described as a vibrant person, with very high moral values. I am a highly reliable and trust worthy individual. I strongly believe in hard work and that it eventually pays off. I have a very warm personality, though considered a shy person. My views on life matters are conservative. I am of the opinion that your word should be your bond. My work experiences with children have been on various levels. I am very skilled in supervising and caring for children. I have cared for children as a live-in, live-out, travel nanny and in Sunday school crèche. My duties revolved mainly around the children, but at some jobs I also managed the household duties. My childcare duties were to look after the general well being of the child (children) but not limited to getting them prepared for school, drop offs, pickups, doctor’s appointments, play dates, school meetings, homework monitoring, activity advisory, salon visits. My house duties involved general supervision of household staff, cooking (if the need arises), monthly grocery shopping, light cleaning.

| I am a supervisor of the largest non profit organization for child care in Canada. I currently supervise 170 Children and 13 staff. I am registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators, in good standing. I have my ECE from Humber College and my undergraduate degree in Children's Studies from York University. I have experience working with a variety of age groups. I believe that children are confident,capable and full of potential. I always have activities or ideas of things we can do besides watching TV. Outdoor play is important as physical activity has declined amongst children.

| I currently work at a child care facility in Caledon, teaching in a junior preschool classroom and have been employed there for a year and a half. Before working in the preschool room I supplied in classrooms with infants, toddlers, preschool and school agers. I also ran the before and after school program with my room partner. I am a Laurier graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Contemporary Studies, with a focus on children and youth studies. I will have completed my ECE degree in December through St.Lawrence College. Before I went to University I babysat for several neighbours, family and friends. Throughout high school and University I completed several co-ops where I worked with children in Kindergarten to Grade 3. I absolutely adore children of all ages and believe I can learn and grow through my interactions with them. Every time I work with a child I am challenged and am forced to expand my strategies and learning tools. I love creative expression, sensory experiences and cooking and would have an amazing time creating with your child. I also like to explore the outdoors and am attempting to bring natural materials into my classroom and would like to extend this experience into my babysitting work.

| I am a RECE and EA with the HCDSB. I have been working with children since i was 14. I have been working in the child care field for about 3 years now. I am a very reliable person who can drive, work with any ages, work with children who may have exceptionalities, who may need assistance with dressing, feeding, getting to bed, bathing, and more!

| Am Mary , I have two years working experience in child care services .I have worked with Bethel CD school Ghana as a child care assistance in the year 2021, and I have also worked with Royal Acorn school also in Ghana for one year. Also I am a Personal Support Work with a qualified certificate.
