We enjoy going outside to the park, wading pool, museums, general wandering in the city.
My Autistic child loves music, dancing, play doh, and water play, playing at the park, and watching videos.
Some requirements:
- Going to nearby parks or indoor play gyms (with myself and younger child who is 4)
- patient with high energy levels
- AAC experience is awesome but not an absolute necessity

We are looking for someone who can assist with our lovely 17 year-old daughter L. L has autism and intellectual disability, but is verbal, charming, and loves to have fun. We are looking specifically for someone who can help this summer on either Saturday or Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm at our house in the Broadview and Queen area. Activities might include doing crafts, going to the park, or possibly even swimming. This work involves some simple snack preparation. Some help with personal care may be required. In addition we are looking for someone to travel with us to Italy for two weeks in October and provide caregiver support to our daughter. The right person for Italy would be a travel lover, confident about navigating in a foreign country with a special needs teen and up for swimming every day. All travel expenses would be covered.
