My son is friendly, calm, happy, and happens to be autistic. He has only ever been to put bed for the night by me. Although it bothers me, I will be in Toronto for the Pink concert July 24th, and he will have to go to bed before I’m home. Ideally, the care giver will be able to have a couple of meetings before Monday, so that E will be comfortable that day. Looking for someone to provide occasional care and respite following this one day as well. The right fit for my son is the highest priority for me. Experience providing respite care to kids on the spectrum is definitely an asset.

We are looking for a babysitter (mainly for our 3 and 5 year olds with special needs). Also for the summer to work predominantly with our 5 year old who is speech delayed. Hi! We are looking for someone to drive my uncle with Autism from Teeswater to Orangeville (or close) every 4-6 weeks. It would involve picking him up from his home in Teeswater and driving him to Orangeville where we will meet you to drive him the rest of the way home! And then meet us back in Orangeville a few days later and drive him back to Teeswater! My uncle is 67, non- verbal but very calm and likes the car! My daughter is 3 and has cerebral palsy. I am looking for someone to watch her a few nights a month. I would like someone who is patient and kind, and I can trust. We have animals in the home so must be ok with them. Having a car seat to be able to take her places would be a bonus, but not required. She is very smart, tough, but stubborn girl. Her cerebral palsy is mild but definitely need someone who understands her and a bit about it.

Job responsibilities would include waking up children and keeping our daughter (who has autism) on task in the mornings. She is almost independent but needs help to stay focused. We need help to prepare breakfast for both children and drive them to school just 2 minutes from our home.

I am looking for after school care until June and full time care 9-5 during the summer months, and one evening per month. He is quite high functioning, and can tell you his basic needs. (Hungry, thirsty, bathroom, etc). He needs to be watched to make sure he doesn’t get into anything, pretty much like a toddler. He can dress himself with minimal assistance, and is potty trained. He’s such a sweet boy. I can provide more specific information if we decide to move forward.

We have 2 sons that are 7 and 3 years old. The youngest has down syndrome but has no physical impairments. He is in diapers, but can feed himself. My wife works at night so we are looking for someone to look after the boys after school until I get home around 630.

Must be local and able to spend time at your place to watch movies and play games, can go out and do errands, go to library, walks, sports events. Will need a car.
