My daughter's a 3yo with ASD. She is non verbal, has sensitivities to sounds and spends a lot of her day communicating through screams and cries. She's such a sweetheart when she in a good mood and we often don't know why she is upset. She is involved in many programs and my needs for care will change over time. The hours I put in are flexible to an extent and I exaggerated the amount slightly just to be safe. I only need care for her and someone to interact and play with her.

We would like someone to help N work on social skills (how to carry a conversation), food skills (how to prepare simple food safely and manage food impulses) and to have fun with (watching TV or movie or playing cards and doing puzzles). N is independent with self care and bedtime routine.

Take him for his daily walk and ride. Take him to local Pool.

Part time and potentially long-term. Role may include personal development activities (art & crafts), local attractions & shopping, Picking up Day Program, meal preparation. Have experience with Autistic, non-verbal and aware individuals. Has transportation to and from Kanata location.

Hello, we’re looking for someone to provide care for our 4 year old. He has level 2 autism. He communicates well, eats well, plays well, followed a routine very well. Loves being outside. Everywhere is so waitlisted and we’re having trouble finding him care.

Main job responsibilities will be keeping him engaged with different activities at home and taking a walk or other outdoor activities weather permitting. Child is 9 years old and independent for the most part but needs redirection to keep him positively engaged

This position is to operate in my home. My son has also has global developmental delay and verbal communication challenges . Nanny will be needed to provide; Safety and activity monitoring, assistance with toileting when needed, make 2 snacks and lunch every day, play planning and interaction, tidy up messes occurring during the day, provide exercise opportunities, and administer medications when directed. It is preferred, but not required, that the Nanny have some ASD programming experience. Preferred if nanny has a car and can take my son out to; shopping for toys, visit fun places of interest, outdoor exercise(parks, hiking) etc
