I'm looking for elder care for my mother who is 89. She is very loving and affectionate. She requires assistance getting dressed, brushing teeth, toileting, giving her medication from blister packs which need to be ground up and mixed with food before feeding it to the client. Some blood pressure monitoring to assist with giving her, her blood pressure medication. Meals are already prepared, however, they would need to be heated up and she requires feeding assistance.
Light cleaning of the bathroom, and taking soiled clothing or linen to the laundry room is also required. She needs one to one companion care during the day.
It is essential that the worker knows how to use dementia techniques including distraction.
The patient is a one-person assist but needs a little more help in the mornings. So you should be fit and strong enough to do transfers. I am looking for a female candidate to look after my mom due to toileting and the cleaning associated with it.
This is a part-time position which is on weekends and two evenings. About 23 to 30 hrs per week with the possibility of more shifts for a dependable, reliable, hard worker who provides good care. Shift work. weeknights and weekends. Split Shift: 9-11 am and 12:30-5 pm on Saturday and Sunday and two evenings Monday and Tuesday 5-10 pm each week. The shifts are set, I am not looking for people who can only do one part of a shift. I am looking for people who are only working with my family during the COVID-19 Outbreak to prevent infecting my mom and family.

Part time caregiver required for 45 year old woman with ALS

We are looking for an immediate care giver, so only local applicants please! I and my partner are looking for a person to assist her with all aspects of her daily life, including helping to care for our three year old son. Mum has ALS with physical limitations in both her arms and legs, and requires assistance in almost all aspects of daily life including, but not limited to: Bathing and other personal care Dressing Meal prep Eating Supplement administration Physiotherapy Accompanying client to appointments In addition to the personal care listed above, we will also require cooking and cleaning, laundry, as well as running occasional errands, such as light grocery shopping. Because ALS is a progressive disease, duties will expand over time, so we will require someone who is willing and able to grow with us. The shifts will be between 9am and 6pm, approximately 5-8 hours each shift, 2-3 days per week, Approximately 15-20 hours weekly. Weekend and evening work may be necessary on occasion. A valid drivers licence is a requirement. Excellent communication and strong understanding of English is required. We are an absolute non smoking home, no perfume allowed, and have two cats. We are located in Copperfield SE.
