I'm bubbly, friendly and compassionate and I work well with children. My tutoring experience includes:
- 1.5 years working as a volunteer tutor with RESN, a not-for-profit organisation that assists rural and regional year 11 and 12 students to access tutoring and exam assistance.
- 1 year of volunteering as the English Subject Coordinator for RESN. I coordinated the VCE English components of the organisation.
- 1 year of working as a volunteer tutor for primary and secondary school students at Friday Night School, a not-for-profit that assists families from refugee backgrounds.
- 2 months working for Big Improvements Tutoring, a tutoring company that provides a tutoring service to primary and high school students.
I have also worked as a nanny and personal assistant to three school-aged families for the past 1.5 years. I am passionate about helping children realise their potential through tutoring. I have seen the visible impacts and confidence students have in their academic ability through tutoring. This newfound confidence positively benefits their academic selves and also has the potential to translate into so many areas of their life.
I have a current Police Check and Working With Children's Check.

I’m an enthusiastic tutor with a strong academic record, including high distinctions in English and ongoing senior studies in Mathematical Methods. I love helping students build confidence and clarity in their work, whether that’s strengthening analytical writing or mastering complex maths concepts. Tutoring is incredibly rewarding to me because I get to see students reach those “light-bulb moments” where everything finally clicks and knowing I’ve helped them grow makes every session worthwhile.

In 2017 I worked in a school for a year as a Teachers aid, homework club tutor and a private tutor outside of my employment at the school. I worked with children of various ages and helped them to complete their school work and also skill based learning. I enjoy working with kids and helping them to feel achievement in their schooling and in themselves. I am passionate about education and the importance of learning and in the future I would like to work to improve our education system here in Australia.

Second year university student (studying Law/PPE at ANU) with 4 years tutoring experience with primary and secondary school aged children. I specialise in primary school to year 10. Tutored with Kumon for 3 years, before working independently for 1 year.
I like to work with your child to encourage them to do the work themselves, with added support on the side when they need it. I believe this is more beneficial for students as my end goal is to foster independence.
I hold a Working with Vulnerable People's Card (WWVP), and also have experience working with younger children (ages 2-12) as a swimming instructor.

Hi prospective students and parents! My name is Brin, and I am a student studying International Relations. I am excited to help you achieve your best results and also foster a passion for the Arts! Despite having no formal qualifications, I have previous tutoring experience. After ranking first in all my HSC subjects at my school (Extension English, Advanced English, Modern History, Extension History, Economics) in 2018, I have spent time as an au-pair for a 19yo female with learning difficulties and then tutoring Cambridge CAE English students to pass their B2 and C1 exams. While attending university at ANU I am looking to continue teaching as I find it rewarding to help students discover the intricacies of the English Language. My results speak for themselves with my ESL students passing their exams with only 2 months study, an almost unimaginable feat considering the prestige of Cambridge exams. I am looking forward to hearing back from you!
