| I've been nannying for the past 20 years. I've cared for children with Type 1 diabetes, with high medical needs requiring the use of an epi pen, Autism, ADHD, other mental health diagnosis as well as growing up alongside 2 friends who had cerebral palsy & I'd often help them at school. I've also helped a couple of friends over the years who were born deaf & have hearing aids fitted. I've also cared for older children who have had incontinence problems as well. I have 4 of my own children. My son has been diagnosed with Level 2 ASD & my daughter has been diagnosed with Level 1 ASD & ADHD. I am well aware of the additional care needs that being a special needs parent incorporates & the toll it can take on you. I've been actively engaged in learning both speech techniques and occupational therapy activities to assist special needs children in my care since my son was diagnosed almost 7 years ago. I'd love to see if I can help with the care for your child while you either work or take a much needed break. I am happy to do all household tasks. I'm well adapted to the sensory issues that a lot of our beautiful children struggle with as well & how they thrive on routine. I'd love to hear from you!
