Hi, I'm Maura, I’m a 25 year old primary school teacher from Ireland, I’ve just moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne! In Melbourne I taught children with autism in a special needs school. I also did child minding on the weekends/during school holidays, minding two lovely children, a 4 year old and a 13 month old (reference can be provided upon request). In Ireland I taught for two years in a mainstream school, working with 7-8 year olds and 11-12 year olds. I have worked with children of all ages for 10 years through coaching sports and babysitting so I have a clear understanding of the needs of children and the importance of prioritising their safety and happiness when in my care.
