I've supported & cared for people from 6 months to 80 years old.
It's a joy for me to share nature based exploring & learning with others. A recent highlight: raft building & introducing bushfoods to year 5s, witnessing & sharing their joy.
In Austria I cared for a 3 year old with Downs syndrome. I've also been a nanny for a 18 month old boy once a week for 10 hours.
Ive had various babysitting roles ranging 4-12 year olds.
Working on adventure camps for school students & adults with a disability, as well as live in aged care work in a remote Indigenous community has given me awareness, flexibility and experience in what is required for full-time care.
Through the varied roles I have developed patience, compassion & flexibility in communication & activities to share with people I care for, as well as an ability to relate to a wide range of people.
All people, no matter their age or ability, need to feel comfortable in their environments & relationships to thrive. I'm the type of person people often feel quite comfortable being in the presence of.
Choice, opportunity & loving boundaries are important.
I really enjoy: yoga, snorkelling, bike riding, hiking, camping, boating, wildlife,singing, dancing, crafts & more!
