Hi families! My name is Baylie, and I’m an experienced childcare professional originally from Canada, currently based in Perth. I have over 10 years of experience working with children from infancy to school age, including 4 years of nannying with one family (starting when their oldest was just 3 months old and later caring for twins!), as well as extensive experience in Early Childhood Education.
I hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and have worked as an educator, lead educator, and childcare centre manager. I have experience supporting children’s emotional development, creating engaging play-based activities, managing routines, meal prep, bedtime, and caring for multiple children at once.
I pride myself on being warm, calm, reliable, and genuinely engaging with children, not just supervising them. I love getting outdoors, crafts, sensory play, reading stories, and supporting children’s independence in a fun and nurturing way.
I’m available for casual babysitting, date nights, after-school care, and occasional support. I’m happy to help with light household tidying related to the children, simple meal prep, and bedtime routines.
