We are a family with three young boys - 7 months, 4 and 6. We are looking for help caring for the children, in particular the baby and 4 yr old. Initially this would be for one day per week, with it picking up to two days by July. We would continue two days plus casual other support for this year and all of next year, at least. We are based in Sandy Bay. The right person should be friendly, intelligent and committed to and understand children. Having qualifications or experience in childcare is a big plus, including a police check, wwvp card and drivers licence. We want someone who can become part of our family and helps with all the many things around the house when they are caring for the kids - tidying, cleaning, washing, cooking, organising various activities etc. The boys are active and need someone who will engage them in quiet activities at home and interesting activities elsewhere - hiking, scooting, bike riding, beach and playground for example. We’re open to any age group, but after someone who can commit for at least 18months and isn’t completely tied up the rest of the week because ad hoc work might come up.
