A revolving door for veterinarians.

I have been using Village Animal Hospital for over two years. In that time, there have been five (5) different vets. (I'm sure I have spent well over $10,000 on my two 17 year old cats in that time. It almost seems as though it's all an experiment and not veterinarian science.)

Dr. Gates (newest incompetent addition) is the worst Veterinarian I have ever had the displeasure of having examine my cat. She is as RUDE as they come. I was made to feel 5 years old, or at the very least, under police interrogation.

My female cat has a history of UTI's (3) and I took her in this time for the same thing. (If you have a cat you know they are very good at hiding pain and/or discomfort.) Dr. Gates asked me if I noticed a positive change in Sissy after her Convenia shot the last time it was administered. I asked what she meant by improvement. The only way I can tell if Sissy potentially has another UTI is if she intermittently starts peeing outside of the litter box. That was my answer to Dr. Gates' question. No less than 3 times she repeated in an increasingly condescending tone, "...all I'm looking for is a yes or no answer..." I had no idea what answer she wanted.

I could go on and on about my total and absolute horrible experience today.

Needless to say, if you're looking for a caring animal clinic, stay away from Village Animal Hospital until the inevitable happens and Dr. Gates takes her attitude and demeanor somewhere else.
