My 89 year old uncle, a retired lawyer, spent 5 weeks at The Cambridge Homes before moving to another assisted living place. By the end of his five weeks there, he turned to me and said simply, "I'll miss it here. It has been home." Form him, this is absolute gushing. He just felt safe and cared for, and from his first days there, something about the place said home. He also felt great trust in all their staff. "It's well run," he said. Also: wonderful food. He then spent 7 months at another place, and to make a long story short, there was no comparison. He has moved back to the Cambridge Homes and we feel lucky there was an opening!
