About the business
We are always happy to share my love of pets with anyone we meet. I have been a pet owner for more than 23 years. I've owned cats, dogs, birds, and fish. About 10 years ago I had to give away the love of my life Wheatly, a Havenese-terrier mix. Due to this traumatic experience I had to transfer my energy and love, living vicariously through other people's pets. I started working professionally as a pet care giver shortly after this time. This was the best decision of my life. I worked for a large company in Alexandria, VA. After a few months I decided to go out on my own, creating Raining Cats & Dogs. Year to date I have worked with dozens of pets. We currently have dozens of clients and are always looking to add new pets to our Raining Cats & Dogs family.

We used this service when we went out of town. She came to our house multiple times & spent time with our pets, not just taking care of their basic needs, but playing and visiting with them. She also left me a very detailed note of her visits and time spent at the house. I would also like to say that during our time away, we had a power failure in the area & because the house had no power when she came, she made extra visits that day until the power was restored & the house was cool (it was summer), as she knew our animals would be more stressed and alone that day in particular. Would highly recommend her services to anyone needing care for their pets.
