About the business
The Progressive Language Institute (PLI) is a multicultural language organization founded in August, 1998 by Victoria P.
Our core philosophy is to enable children and adult students (regardless of age) to communicate in Spanish in order to respond effectively in this rapidly changing, high-tech global economy.
We're committed to the principle of "Global Education". That's why we give our young and adult students the skills and significant tools that will empower them to become multiculturally competent.
Language skills are a required tool to compete and succeed in the 21st century. That's why our main goal is to assure that students develop their second or third language knowledge through the expansion and enhancement of culturally sensitive and culturally relevant language programs within the U. S. society.
Progressive Language Institute teaches the Spanish language through arts and crafts, Latin dance, literature, cooking, and sewing.
We conduct numerous Spanish language training programs, including classes for professional development, children's programs for parents and their infants and toddlers, and classes for preschool and school age students up to the age of 18.
In addition to our commitment for the Spanish culture and language, we often incorporate our own Spanish compositions, songs, and poems to teach the language.
We also conduct a developmental music program in English for children 15 months old up to six in private and Montessori Schools.
